Holyhead Port Capital Works and Maintenance Contract

Part of the planned, unplanned, and cyclical maintenance contract work at Holyhead Port, a major ferry hub on Anglesey.

Works included:

• 21,000m² of new surfacing
• 20,000 tonnes of imported rock armour to create a new revetment
• 19 new vehicle running lanes
• Improved vehicle, pedestrian, and trailer storage segregation

In addition, 42 per cent of the total spend of the project was spent locally on materials and local sub-contractors, while all surplus materials were recycled and reused within the port.
